Heat Transfers vs. Screen Printing — How We Decide
We get asked about this a lot, so here's how we actually think about it:
Screen printing is almost always the better choice for larger runs of the same design. The upfront setup cost — burning screens, mixing inks — gets spread across more garments, the per-piece price drops, and the print quality is exceptional. If you're ordering 36 or more identical shirts, screen printing is probably the answer.
Heat transfers make more sense when each piece needs to be different, when quantities are low, or when you're adding customization to an existing garment. For team uniforms where every player has a unique name and number, heat transfers aren't a compromise — they're the right tool for the job.
